Mike's Homemade Tarter Sauce

 

Sorry, not the greatest pic of this yummy stuff!

Note:  I just can't go back to store bought tarter.   Key to this recipe is to take a paper towel and squeeze out excess water in your diced onions.  Otherwise your sauce might be a bit soupy.

Make at least an hour in advance so flavors can comingle. 

Ingredients- Serves 8

1     C  Mayo
1     C  Nally hamburger dill chips
1     T  Fresh Dill.  You can use dried too, but use a little less.
1      t  Lemon juice.  I have limes on hand a lot of times and just use them.
1      t  White suger
2      T  Diced Onion- Squeeze out water!
1/2    t  Garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste.
